This graph of the Enron Corpus shows all edges falling in the Δt- interval between t0 and t1, where , (click to animate), and , counting from the earliest timestamp appearing in the data.
This is the period between and , UTC. The directional weights show the number of edges in each direction (each edge is a single email sent in the period shown), normalized to the interval [0.1, 1] each time step. The time window updates every seconds when the animation is active.
The visualization uses two forces to lay out the nodes, depending on whether they are connected in the current interval. The edge gradients and arrowheads were the tricky parts.
